Try your hand at climbing in the Ardennes!
Well strapped in, you climb the steep rock face alone, with a magnificent view on the Ourthe valley. You are attached to a rope team by a climbing instructor or another participant.
You can choose from several routes that vary greatly in difficulty, length, and level. Learning the belay technique and the different rope manipulations are part of learning to climb in the Ardennes.
Make your descent that will stay with you for life.
Abseiling involves descending along a steep rock face with the help of a special abseiling rope. In safety, you make a spectacular descent and you have a fantastic view on the Ourthe valley. You can control your own speed.
Once at the bottom, you ascend via an adventurous path. This way, you can abseil once again, securely secured.
Other names for abseiling are “rappelling” and “rope descent”. This technique is not only used in mountaineering, but also in canyoning, caving and even rafting.
Safety first.
Before departure, you will receive a professional explanation about the different routes and the use of the helmet and safety harness.
For your own safety, you should be at least 1.35 meters tall.
